So through this journey called life our minds are like a library from the minute we are born til the second we take our last breath... Every Single day we are learning new things to put into our library....So for the next 30 days I want to know whats the "learn something new every day" that you come into counter with? It might be interested to see all of the answers!!!!

New Fact for Today: Hermit Crabs actually out grow their shells and switch around shells until they find one that is comfy for them to stay in....... 

Spring Artistry Course Class One

What a wonderful intimate group we have the Spring Course... I am very excited for the futures of each and everyone of you! It is wonderful to see the talent around this area continue to grow and expand.

So Ladies your homework as we covered two courses in one day is the following.

Make a time line a the era's 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and present. Get creative with this, there is no right or wrong in this assignment. Please produce a quality product as this will be used in your portfolio for future clients to view at photo shoots etc. Remember pictures will get you on the same page as to what your clients wants and needs are. 

Your second assignment is to come up with a collage of some sort of the different skin tones (Pink & Yellow) in the following...Ivory (Pale), Tan, Asian, African American...All together you should have eight photos. 

Next course will be on April 30th at 11 a.m. 

Please let me know any questions you might have and remember to practice what we learned in class one on who ever you can! Re - read what we have read and get ready to get hands on next course.

I also need everyones schedules as to when you can all assist on a high fashion photo shoot for experience and portfolio work as well since we have a smaller course this time! 

Spring Artistry Course 2011 Q & A

It is that time again...Spring Artistry Course is around the corner with only about a week left to register! Class begins on April 16th, 2011 and is every Saturday til May 9th 2011 from 11:00 - 7:00 p.m.

What do I need to bring the first day of class?

• Your self and a smile :) Everything for the course is provided including makeup for IN CLASS use and your manual which is yours to keep for future reference and note taking. On the last day of class you will need to provide two models for your final look.

What do you get when you complete the course?

• Once you have completed the course a package is mailed to you including testimonials from myself and everyone in the course to get your portfolio going, two 8 1/2 x 11 pictures for your portfolio of your final look, and your makeup certification which then will allow you to get your discount cards at different stores such as M.A.C, Makeup Forever, etc. Work at a makeup counter, or freelance as a makeup artist in your area!

What if I want to take the course but I can't make every Saturday?

• I encourage you to still take the course as you can schedule a 1 x 1 makeup class for any day you can not make the Saturday!
